It gives me a great pleasure to introduce the Computer Science and Engineering department as one of the best departments of School of Engineering and Technology, Sanjivani University that runs UG, PG and PhD programmes. It has always been one of the top in-demand career choices for young aspirants, because this field branches out into numerous specializations, thereby creating a host of career paths for Computer Engineers. We have excellent academic curriculum which has been align with National and International standards. This curriculum gives confidence to our students to explore themselves in any kinds of opportunity which helps them to share their carrier. We also run computational courses for students, which make them aware of the latest trends in the industry. Our sound teaching and learning process takes care of the students’ all round development that prepares them for the rapidly evolving technologies in software industries.
The department has state of the art laboratory which includes computer vision, data science, data base management laboratory at which students are performing their projects allotted by industry and international university professors. The CSE department curriculum has been powered by HCLTech industry where this industry persons are taking courses and allotting industrial projects to the students.
Department has strong international connects under which HitSpectra Pvt Ltd, Taiwan has opened
“Centre of Excellence” at the CSE Dept of Sanjivani University. Currently 14 projects from Taiwan and 5 projects from University of Delaware, USA is under implementation phase. The international faculty and industry experts continuously interacting with students whereas such interaction with the industry has helped our students get internships, training, Guidance for problem-solving in Smart India Hackathon and sponsored projects.
The students are encouraged to participate in several co-curricular activities conducted by the students’ club, Coding club and technical symposiums, which help them, develop their technical,professional, and soft skills required in a wide range of careers.
The vision of the department is to impart quality education in the field of Computer Science &
Engineering and to produce globally competent engineers who will aim for the overall sustainable
development of the society. Highly qualified, experienced, and dynamic faculty, along with creative and dedicated students, are working hard together to achieve this goal.
