Key features of Laboratory -

• The Computer Vision laboratory is the state-of-the-art computers with high computing power which have been utilise to solve real time societal computing problems.
• The laboratory is 24x7 opened with high-speed internet connection along with smart boards.
• Department has received 13+ real time datasets from National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan under centre of excellence (CoE).

Currently following projects are in implementation phase along with regular subject practical.

• Image based SCR (Sickle-cell Retinopathy) detection
• Segmentation of Garbage from Drone (quantity and characterization)
• VR by Hologram
• Tracking Shirdi traffic (people, vehicles, etc)
• Face, gender and age recognition using IR cameras
